Typical of St-Estèphe reds, this is decidely rich and concentrated with aromatics of ripe raspberry, blackberry and liquorice. Further hints of nutmeg and vanilla reflect the well integrated oak-ageing. On the palate it is dry, full-bodied with dark plums, tobacco and dark chocolate.

Here is another storied Chateau of the Médoc but with a Flemish twist. Chris Cardon took over the estate in 2012 and had a vision. The standard profile of St-Estèphe wines is typically powerful, rustic and quite structured in their youth. Chris decided to change this and make them more approachable.
