For Italianophiles, we have invested a lot of time in our range. From Piedmonte we cannot recommend  the Barolo from Francesco Rinaldi highly enough. In particular the Francesco Rinaldi Barolo Cannubi Riserva 2013. We would also recommend exploring their Nebbiolo d’Alba and their glorious Barbaresco DOCG. Of course if you are a Pio Cesare fan we carry their top Barolo il Brico and Ornato. Moving towards central Italy we are particularly proud to represent the wines of Collemassari, Grattamacco and Poggio di Sotto. This is really short hand for saying that we have an exemplary Super Tuscan offering of course with Ornellaia in the mix along the more affordable le Volte. For Brunello di Montalcino or Rosso di Montalcino we cannot recommend highly enough the wines of Poggio di Sotto. If their prices are a little eye watering the Brunello di Montalcino San Giorgio also owned by the Tipa family is sensational as is their Rosso di Montalcino Ciampoleto 2018. Moving further south we hope you find our judiciously chosen ranges of Primitivo, Negroamaro and Nero d’Avola impress.

Of course Italy is not all about red wines. The exceptional Gavi of La Scolca are legendary including La Scolca Black Label shipped into Ireland by Whelehans. Or the legendary Vernaccia di San Gimignano from Teruzzi also shipped into Ireland by ourselves.

With the popularity of Venice we carry the much loved Ca dei Frati wines, the whites based on the Lugana grape. We even stock their oaked version Ca dei Frati Brolettino.

If you are a Vermentino fan we are particularly pleased to champion the organic Collemassari Melacce Vermentino 2019

Of course we stock several references of Pinot Grigio with our firm favourite being the Franz Haas Pinot Grigio from the Alto Adige.

We have to of course mention the ever popular sparkling wine of Italy Prosecco. We are pleased to carry Bottega Prosecco Spumante and the Masottina Prosecco Frizzante.

Finally the legendary Antinoro Cevaro de Salla is sometimes in stock so worth keeping an eye out for it.
