Vibrant, mineral & complex Saint-Romain

The nose combines lemon zest, white peach and honeysuckle with subtle notes of brioche, hazelnut and oak. On the palate, crisp green apple, pear and citrus are wrapped in a gently creamy texture, balanced by vibrant acidity and a distinctive mineral, saline character. The finish is long and refined, with the oak likely to integrate further with bottle age.

STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Róisín Curley is a multifaceted figure, serving as a winemaker, micro-negotiant, pharmacist in Ballyhaunis, County Mayo, and ultimately a Master of Wine. Róisín is committed to acquiring the highest quality grapes from small parcels for her wines and she has forged close connections with the growers throughout Burgundy to ensure complete oversight of the procedure, resulting in such remarkable quality.
