The Loire Valley is really one of our favourite wine regions. It can deliver real diversity in styles and with their grape pallet paint some real masterpieces. Home to the Sauvigon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Melon de Bourgogne, Cabernet Franc and welcomed visitor Pinot Noir there is such a wide and recommendable range of options. 

Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé for sublime Sauvigon Blanc. We have to recommend Domaine Andre Vatan for Sancerre and of course the brilliant Domaine Lebrun for Pouilly Fumé. Yes we do of course stock Domaine Vacheron in Sancerre and Comtes Lafond in Pouilly Fumé, Chateau de Tracy and Baron de L. 

To explore exceptional Chenin Blanc you must try Domaine Filliatreau from Saumur-Champigny. An exceptional slightly oaked wine from a top producer. 

For real Loire enthusiasts our Saumur Champigny range have been very carefully selected to demonstrate the majesty of the Cabernet Franc. (Remember Cabernet Franc is the genetic father of Cabernet Sauvignon). Be thrilled by the Saumur Champigny of Thierry Germain.

Many of our Loire references  are organic and biodynamic. Our Sancerre Rouge from  Domaine Andre Vatan is a brilliant example of Pinot Noir from the Loire Valley. 

A fascinating and lesser-known facet of the Loire is its volcanic soils, particularly in regions like the Côtes du Forez and Cote Roannaise. We highly recommend Domaine Robert Serol Cote Roannaise Éclat de Granite, a complex Gamay Saint Romain from the Auvergne, beautifully showcasing the Volcanic Loire terroir.

For those who want an alternative sparkling wine to Champagne we can not recommend highly enough the Cremant de Loire of Bouvet Ladubay.  Their Trésor is sensational. The Bouvet Rosé is breathtaking.
