    Opulent & mineral Pouilly-Fuissé Premier Cru

    This full bodied wine, which is very marked by its terroir, offers nutty aromas such as almonds and hazelnuts over deeper flavours of citrus and white-fleshed fruit, all of which is underscored by strong minerality. In the mouth, it is taut and precise, revealing the full
    complexity of its aromas, with a lovely underlying crispness.

    Food Pairing: Perfect with pan-fried scallops with citrus zest, Bresse chicken with morel mushrooms in a cream sauce, lobster thermidor, grilled sea bass with a fennel purée, and aged Comté or Beaufort cheese.  | 🌡️ Serve chilled, between 10-12°C

     

    STORY BEHIND THE LABEL 

    The Guerrin’s estate dates from 1926 and can be found at the heart of the protected natural site between the Roche de Solutré and the Roche de Vergisson in southern Burgundy, just to the west of Mâcon. Today the fourth generation works a patchwork of 35 small vineyards spread over 15 hectares and various soil types. Respecting nature and farming sustainably with 90% of work done manually and fermenting with native yeasts are key to highlighting their excellent terroir.
