I had a wonderful opportunity last week to be at this fabulous wine tasting in Whelehans.
We sampled 7 magnificent wines from various regions with a mix of white and red wines.
We started with pink chanpagne which nicely set up the tone for the evening .!
David gave us a very knowledgeable overview of each of the wines we were drinking.
the wines were accompanied with a delicous range of cheeses presented by Jullian who described each of the cheeses for us.
I am looking forward to their next wine tasing in July !
This crisp Austrian Grüner Veltliner is an absolute delight. It is the perfect easy-drinking white wine for these warm days and pairs well with most foods.
