STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

Run today by oenologists Doris Eymael and her son Jan, Pfeffingen is counted as one of the top 10 estates in the Pfalz. and has been producing wine for more than 250 years. Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir) is one of their specialities. As in Burgundy, the high content of limestone in the underground gives the wines a maximum of finesse and character and a distinctly fine fruitiness.
