    Delicious, round and opulent Pouilly-Fuissé "Vieilles Vignes"

    This Pouilly-Fuissé is a delicious round and supple wine. Its delicate aromas of white-fleshed fruit are a wonderful compliment to the sweet floral notes. It is notable for its richness and softness in the mouth, with a buttery side expressing the wine’s indulgent nature.

    Food Pairing: Perfect with Pan-seared scallops in lemon butter sauce, roasted lobster tail with clarified butter, creamy chicken fricassee with morel mushrooms, veal saltimbocca, and aged Comté cheese.  | 🌡️ Serve chilled, between 10-12°C

     

    STORY BEHIND THE LABEL 

    The Guerrin’s estate dates from 1926 and can be found at the heart of the protected natural site between the Roche de Solutré and the Roche de Vergisson in southern Burgundy, just to the west of Mâcon. Today the fourth generation works a patchwork of 35 small vineyards spread over 15 hectares and various soil types. Respecting nature and farming sustainably with 90% of work done manually and fermenting with native yeasts are key to highlighting their excellent terroir.
