Layered, fresh and slighty mineral Entre deux Mers

The wine has a bright, pale yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose is intense and precise, with aromas of yellow and white fruits, citrus, and refined floral notes. As the wine opens, subtle spicy notes emerge. On the palate, the structure is broad and layered, with a distinct density supported by fresh acidity. The tension remains beautifully, giving the wine energy and length. The finish is long, slightly salty, and supported by a fine, refreshing bitter note that adds depth.

    • Sémillon, supplemented with Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris
    • Aged four months on the fine lees in concrete tanks, with regular bâtonnage
    • Part of the blend is aged in oak to add complexity and balance
    Cellaring:  Drink now to 2030
Food Pairing:  Superb with fresh oysters, grilled sea bass, garlic prawns, and goat cheese crottins. It also goes beautifully with crispy calamari, grilled asparagus, or a fresh summer pea salad with mint. | 🌡️ The wine should be served chilled, at around 8°C to 10°C

    STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Château Marjosse, located in Entre-deux-Mers, is led by Pierre Lurton, one of Bordeaux's most experienced winemakers and a well-known figure in the Bordeaux region. With experience as manager of Château Cheval Blanc and CEO of Château d'Yquem, he has a proven track record in Bordeaux. The estate functions as a kind of laboratory where plots and grape varieties are individually monitored and vinified. Marjosse's style focuses on purity, precision, and the production of accessible yet substantial wines, with a particular focus on white Bordeaux.

Spanning approximately 11 hectares, the vineyards are meticulously managed on a plot-by-plot basis. The vines average 25 years of age, with prized old-growth parcels reaching up to 75 years. In 2025, a low yield of just 29 hectoliters per hectare naturally restricted production, resulting in fruit of remarkably high concentration.
