    Fresh, pure and well-balanced Premier Cru Champagne

    Bright gold with a green tinged appearance and a fine mousse with a beguiling effervescence. Lean and compact with a delicate citrus, dried apricot and a buttered brioche nose. The palate is still fresh and well-balanced with flavours of crisp green apples, peaches, hazelnuts and toast. With a finish that is clean, pure and long.

    • 100% Chardonnay
    • The base wine is aged partly in used oak barrels and in stainless steel
    • Aged sur lie for approximately years
    • 4 gram dosage
    Cellaring: Drink well now through 2040
    Food Pairing: Seafood is excellent, particularly fresh oysters, seared scallops, or sushi. Also delicious with creamy cheeses like Brie or Brillat-Savarin | 🌡️ Serve slightly warmer than a standard "entry-level" Champagne, at a temperature around 10ºC.

     

    STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

    The Bénard-Pitois family started to produce Champagne in 1878. Now the third generation Michelle and Laurent Bénard-Louis continue the tradition and manage the family Domaine. Winemakers Michelle and Laurent continue to make a name for this House with a hands-on approach philosophy and meticulous attention to detail. Each plot is vinified separately using small vats as well as light oak-ageing in small barrels.
