It reminds me to Burgundy. Mineral, lovely acidity, and tropical fruits.

Displaying a, profound purple-red color, this wine exudes an array of compote-style red and black fruits, accompanied by hints of mint and cocoa . Its palate showcases a velvety smoothness while retaining a lively and refreshing character, courtesy of a unobtrusive acidity. The soft, velvety texture unveils its savory elements, culminating in a smokey lingering finish marked by spicy, roasted undertones.
Arzuaga Navarro was founded in 1993 and is located in the town of Quintanilla de Onesimo (Valladolid), in the Golden Mile of Ribera del Duero. For the preparation of Arzuaga Reserva grapes from vines more than 80 years of the winery’s own ”La Planta” estate. The soil of "La Planta" is clayey and rich in limestone at less than one metre underground. Poor soil and harsh Spanish weather conditions at this altitude result in scarce yields but also in very concentrated wines.
