A lovely fruity taste. Kept on drinking over several glasses.
heard Jean Smullen give glowing review on Moncrieff's Movies & Booze segment on Newstalk. She was spot on!
It reminds me to Burgundy. Mineral, lovely acidity, and tropical fruits.

A 17th Century family owned Domaine that is causing a real stir in Sancerre with Matthieu Delaporte at the helm. In Matthieu’s own words “precision, balance and complexity are the watchwords of our cuvées with each delivering a strong sense of their individual terroirs, marked by considerable minerality, power and freshness”. This is the most perfect summation of their complex, intriguing and delicious wines.
Also, since 2010 Vincent Delaporte's grandson, Matthieu Delaporte has been fully focused on further improving the domaine's wines. A more organic approach has been adopted in the vineyards with herbicides no longer being used.
