A charming introduction to the charms of Chinon Cabernet Franc, from a local pioneer in organic viticulture. Think crunchy raspberry and black currant fruits with hints of sage and nasturtium leaf; light, crisp tannins and a pleasantly bitter finish. Perfect for lunchtime fare o mezze evenings - or ramp up the volume with the Bonnaventure Chinon (14pc, €25) for richer concentration, silky tannin texture and subtle sweet-savoury notes of leather and spice.
