This dry white wine has an intense bouquet of apricot and passion fruit with wonderful nuances of nut butter and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, the Scheurebe is remarkably elegant, with a subtle creaminess and well-integrated acidity that is gentle rather than overpowering.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

The Pfeffingen winery is located in Ungstein, just outside Bad Dürkheim in the Pfalz region. Two generations work here, Jan Eymael and his mother Doris run this top-class winery. The Scheurebe vineyard in the Pfeffingen family is located in an absolute top location, the Ungsteiner Herrenberg, with a southern exposure and a strong, well-supplied soil ensure the optimal ripeness of the grapes.
