STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
Domaine Tortochot is located in Gevrey-Chambertin, a small town with a big reputation. From modest beginnings in the 19th Century, the Tortochot family now have 4 village level appellations in the region as well as a world-wide reputation. This wine is sourced from their Premier Cru site Les Champeaux. Now run by Chantal, she oversaw the conversion to organic farming back in 2013. A rare feat in itself given the challenges in the region. A signature characteristic of this wine is the expression of fruit purity, whether you enjoy it now or in a few years’ time. That is, if you dont give in to temptation.
