Bodegas Terras Gauda, "O Rosal", 2024

O Rosal shows attractive mandarin and orange peel fruit along with juicy pear and ripe peach on the nose. On the palate it has a strong stony mineral streak with a fresh citrus finish.

Bodegas Rafael Palacios, Louro Do Bolo, Godello, 2024

The 2024 is bright and pithy – the nose packed with lime zest, crisp green apple and sea spray. The palate is taut and intense, limey, pure and long, the layers of fruit complementing its backbone of minerality. This is still a baby and will flesh out in bottle, the light spritz disappearing and developing more of its trademark waxy, honeyed tones

Bodegas de la Marquesa Valserrano Blanco, 2023

This wine shines with a pale golden hue, bright and crystal clear. The nose is intensely aromatic, offering hints of fennel, basil, and freshly cut hay, evolving with swirling to reveal fresh floral notes like honeysuckle, along with lively aromas of apple, citrus grapefruit, and subtle chamomile. On the palate, it opens with a fresh, vibrant attack, beautifully balanced with excellent structure. Its creamy texture is complemented by a fruity freshness reminiscent of grapefruit, finishing with a delicate, slightly salty touch.

Joan d'Anguera "Altarosés", 2022

Unfined and unfiltered, this wine is a wonderfully restrained and elegant expression of the Montsant terruño (terroir). With great purity of fruit, it is much lighter than what you might expect from a Montsant “Granatxa”, a true everyday drinking wine. Fresh on the palate with red fruit flavous. A spicy, floral, and mineral finish.

Bodegas de la Marquesa, Valserrano Gran Reserva, 2018

Bright, clear cherry red with ruby tones at the rim. When still in the glass, mineral aromas, notes of ink, hints of phosphorus, and a touch of white pepper and toffee appear. Swirling the glass reveals an intense and seductive wine with notes of bay leaf, sage, and rosemary, blending with the toasty aromas and cedar notes developed during its excellent aging. On the palate, juicy, pleasant, and creamy tannins, with a good combination of ripe fruit and mountain herb aromas. Long finish, with mouth-watering tannins and a pleasantly long aftertaste.
