A Fresh and Balanced Californian Red Wine

This wine bursts from the glass with aromas of cherry, blackberry, plum and mint. It is medium to full bodied with lots of brambly fruit and well-defined tannins. It has great depth of flavour and a long finish.

Food Pairing: Pulled pork, spiced turkey. 

Cellaring: The wine will develop further over the next 15 years.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

After four years of drought, rains finally came allowing a full crop to set. Harvest occurred in September after which the wines spent a year in barrel allowing fruit and tannin to integrate. This is an exotic wine with great complexity.
