    Intense, smooth and full-bodied Douro red

    Very intense red color. Good intensity and complexity, reminiscent of the aroma of ripe red fruits and black plum. Smooth on the palate. Rounded flavour with a full body and soft tannins that delivers a beautifully balanced finish.

    Cellaring:  Drink now to 2027
    Food Pairing: Perfect with a slow-braised beef short rib in a rich red wine reduction or a classic grilled ribeye steak with a garlic-herb butter. Incredible alongside a traditional Portuguese feijoada (hearty bean and pork stew) or a savory wild mushroom and rosemary risotto. Also delicious with hard, intense cheeses like an aged Manchego or a mature farmhouse Cheddar. | 🌡️ Serve at around 16-18°C

    Quinta dos Avidagos is a historic family-owned winery in Portugal’s Douro Valley, with roots dating back to 1670. Combining centuries of tradition with modern winemaking, the estate cultivates native Douro grape varieties across multiple vineyards to produce acclaimed red, white, rosé, and Port wines.
