A lovely fruity taste. Kept on drinking over several glasses.
heard Jean Smullen give glowing review on Moncrieff's Movies & Booze segment on Newstalk. She was spot on!
It reminds me to Burgundy. Mineral, lovely acidity, and tropical fruits.

A remarkable, top-notch Pinot Grigio from Friuli-Grave in northeast Italy. Aging 6 months on its lees gives it a fuller flavor, with traces of acacia blossom, peach, and nutmeg. It deserves its consistently high ratings.
Cellaring: Drink now or in the next 4 years.
Food Pairing: A delightful accompaniment to fish, shellfish, and lighter fare, this Pinot Grigio also makes an excellent stand-alone option.
It's an excellent pick, as the Cescon winery and its wine boast a proud heritage rooted in all things natural; evidence of this is displayed on the distinctive tralcetto, or vine twig, woven around the bottle neck. This emblem of vineyard authenticity was first used by Italo's mother, Anna, in 1957 and has been a symbol of their wines ever since.
But was it the first bottle to flaunt the winter-pruned vines around its neck? There may be some debate here - another 'Twig' wine from Abruzzo is made by a family who claim to be the first to do so. But from a wine quality perspective, it doesn't really matter. Of course, the two families don't send each other holiday cards. It's a bit of rivalry.
