A wine with fresh delicate red fruit aromas, floral and spicy notes, and aromatic persistence. The well integrated tannins are present enough to give the wine structure but not so overpowering as to be harsh allowing an elegant mouthfeel. Whilst this wine may not have the power and aging potential of wines like Barolo and Barbaresco, it is a great introduction to Nebbiolo.

From the original cellar with vaults in the sixties, the work started by Giovanni has been enhanced year after year by his descendants with extension works in the winery at the hand of Luciano and Michele, sons of Francesco Rinaldi. More recently conventional processing in the cellar has been completed by the current owners, Paola and Piera Rinaldi, Giovanni’s great granddaughters, with modern technology, optimizing work but at the same time making sure to preserve the uniqueness of their wines. The result is a modern cellar whilst remaining true to a traditional style for this region.
