The old vines give this Cabernet Franc a more black fruit profile than typical expressions. Deep ruby with earthy aromas of violet, cassis and dried herbs unfold. On the palate it’s medium bodied with flavours of black cherry, bramble, mushroom and leather. Well structured, decant for an hour beforehand and can be served lightly chilled.
Food Pairing: Ideal for a summer lunch. Try with charred grilled chicken, pulled pork sandwiches or a classic bruschetta.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
No other region holds Cabernet Franc in such esteem as the Loire. The cool climate, combined with the old vines of between 45-100 years gives this estate’s wine a unique profile and sense of place. The winery is 100% organic since 2020 and is in the process of converting fully to biodynamic practices. To commit to this in a region with a maritime climate is a testament to the estate’s principle of letting nature do all the talking.
