STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Without a doubt, Jean-Baptiste Ponsot is now one of Burgundy's rising stars. Born in 1980 , he already has over twenty vintages under his belt; he took over the reins of the winery from his father Bernard at the age of twenty. Domaine Ponsot is located in the village of Rully, just south of the famous Côte d'Or. Here, Jean-Baptiste crafts exceptional white wines that can rival giants like Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet. Almost all Ponsot wines sell out immediately after bottling. This winemaker won't stay under the radar for long. His white wines are already receiving the highest ratings in the Guide Hachette.
