STORY BEHIND THE LABEL

Crafted from a boutique plot of just 1.5 hectares, this "Terrases des Dentelles" is a true micro-cuvée that showcases the focused intensity of small-scale viticulture. On this tiny parcel, clay, limestone, and sandy soils converge to provide both structural framework and delicate elegance. The blend is dominated by 78% Grenache, supported by 18% Syrah and 4% Mourvèdre. Yields are restricted to an exceptionally low 19 hl/ha through strict plot selection, yielding fruit of remarkable depth and purity. In the cellar, winemaking strictly respects regional heritage: a traditional, temperature-controlled 21-day fermentation utilising regular punching of the cap (pigeage) and small rack-and-return (délestage) for gentle extraction. The wine is then aged for 12 months in 2-to-5-year-old oak barrels, allowing the wood to integrate structural richness while preserving the vivid purity of the fruit.
