    Real treasure of Cognac Frapin

Subtle, complex, refined, long-lasting bouquet consisting of candied fruit aromas (dried apricot, dried fig), marzipan, hazelnut, nougat, then port notes and finally the famous “rancio” character. Balanced, rich and complex on the palate with aromas of dried fruits and candied fruits and an exceptionally long finish.

«Only a true gourmet will appreciate the Château Fontpinot XO to the full. This cognac enchants desserts with its fruity flavours and offers its character to anyone who enjoys the simple pleasures of a cheese board.»
    Patrice Piveteau, Cellar Master

    • Cognac XO
    • Single Estate Cognac
    • AOC Grande Champagne

Food Pairing: Combined with Mimolette, Parmesan, ewe’s milk cheese or blue cheese, it will surprise you with its long aromatic finish. With a chocolate dessert, it reveals vanilla and woody flavours. With a dark chocolate macaroon, or accompanying a three-chocolate praline mousse, it will satisfy the most demanding of gourmets.

    STORY BEHIND THE BOTTLE

Frapin’s style brings the quintessence of Cognac to its highest expression. With its exceptional vineyard stretching over more than 240 hectares exclusively in the heart of the Grande Champagne 1er Cru de Cognac, the Frapin house passionately embodies the great tradition of a family established in Charente since 1270. Combining ancestral know-how with centuries-old methods, Frapin offers cognacs that are exclusively harvested, distilled, and aged on their own estate.

Real treasure of Cognac Frapin, Château Fontpinot XO is presented in a sleek, elegant bottle. This very old reserve XO can lay claim to the Château appellation because it is made exclusively from grapes harvested, distilled, aged and bottled at the Château Fontpinot. Hand-crafted distillation over lees and a long ageing in dry cellars give it a particular character.
