A Refined and Opulent Premium Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi

A refined wine with a balance of fruitiness, acidity, and complexity. Having the benefit of 36 months ageing in tank and bottle before release, this wine exhibits rich aromas of citrus such as lemon and lime, along with hints of green apple, pear, and bitter almond. The acidity gives a crisp, refreshing character, which, combined with its long persistent finish delivering an overall elegance and sophistication.

Food Pairing: This wine pairs beautifully with sophisticated smoked or rich fish dishes, as well as shellfish and mollusks. It is also an excellent match for egg-based pastas and white meats. A special mention must be made of its pairing with a classic Marchigiano tradition: coniglio in porchetta (savory roasted rabbit stuffed with herbs and fennel). | 🌡️ Serve at a temperature between 12 and 14ºC.

STORY BEHIND THE LABEL

In ancient Greek mythology, Ambrosia was the drink of the gods, often depicted as a gift of longevity or immortality to those who consumed it.

"Ambrosia" is a wine of excellence, obtained from a rigorous selection of Verdicchio grapes from their oldest vineyard, planted in 1975 by the grandfather Amato, at 230 meters above sea level in San Paolo di Jesi, in Contrada Battinebbia, in the heart of the Classica area of Castelli di Jesi.
