A bright Saint-Julien with great density of fruit | 3e cru classé

"Ripe and juicy, with a youthfully compact core of steeped plum, blueberry and black currant fruit. The finish is scored by violet and singed apple wood notes, with a tug of tar peeking in as well. Offers ample fruit and inner freshness, so this should open up soon enough. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc."
    Wine Spectator

    • Blend of Cabernet sauvignon (67%), Merlot (26%), Cabernet Franc (7%)
    • Aged 18 months in French oak (60% new)
    • Wine Spectator | 93/100 Pts
    • Wine Enthusiast | 94/100 Pts
    • Decanter | 94/100 Pts
    Cellaring:  Drink now to 2040
Food Pairing:  Perfect with a pan-seared ribeye in a red wine reduction or a garlic and rosemary-crusted roast leg of lamb. If you want to lean into the wine's earthy, complex side, it is also incredible alongside duck breast with a dark cherry glaze or a rich wild mushroom and truffle risotto. Also delicious with hard, nutty cheeses like an aged Comté or a mature farmhouse Cheddar. | 🌡️ Serve at around 16-18°C
