Round and dense Saint-Julien from a third classified growth

The colour is a brilliant bright red. Nice tangy aromas of redcurrant and blackcurrant. Produced from vines that are on average 30 years old, Les Fiefs de Lagrange boasts a beautifully coated dense tannic framework. The Merlot add roundness and accessibility while the Cabernet and Petit Verdot gives this wine excellent ageing potential.

    • Blend of Merlot (52%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Petit Verdot (8%)
    • Aged 13 Months in French oak (20% new)
    • Robert Parker | 89-91 Pts
    Cellaring: Drink now to 2040
Food Pairing: Delicious with roast lamb seasoned with rosemary and garlic. It also excels alongside grilled rib of beef, braised short ribs, or game birds like duck and pigeon served with a red wine reduction. | 🌡️ Serve at a temperature around 16-18ºC.

    STORY BEHIND THE LABEL

Château Lagrange, Third Classified Growth in the 1855 classification, nestles in the heart of the renowned Saint-Julien appellation. The Château stretches over two Gunzian gravel slopes where the highest point of Saint-Julien thrones on the beautiful estate. Created in 1983, “les Fiefs de Lagrange” is so much more than a second wine. Produced from young vines (with an average age of 30 years) and planted on fine gravel soils for the Cabernet Sauvignon and clay for certain Merlots
