    Château Le Crock, 2022

Vibrant, Powerful & Elegant Saint-Estèphe | Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel

"Vibrant and very dark crimson with black core and purplish rim. Refined but intense aroma of pure black fruit, the fruit shining above the impression of oak, though the oak is definitely present. There's pure vibrant cassis as well as sweeter blackberry and mulberry. Powerful, deliciously dry in its tannic texture. Dark, savoury and with the stony character so typical of the appellation. Chalky-chewy tannins are in perfect harmony with the fruit. Incipient elegance and a fine dry aftertaste but in no way drying."
    -Jancis Robinson

    • Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot , Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot
    • Jancis Robinson 17/20
    • Wine Enthusiast 94/100
    • Aged in 18 months in French oak (30% new)

"Echo" de Lynch Bages, Château Haut-Bages Averous, 2022

A Serious Echo That Gives a Good Entry Into the Main Wine

"A serious Echo that gives a good entry into the main wine. There are a ton of tannins here, and it has the inky, slate, crushed rock character of Pauillac. Carefully-extracted cassis and bilberry fruit, this is measured, one to look out for, needs a few years to relax. "

Château Paveil de Luze, Margaux, 2019 | Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel

Great Margaux for Relatively Early Drinking

"A wine that punches above its weight is the 2019 Paveil de Luze, derived from holdings on the deep gravel soils of the plateau of Brane and containing some 80% Cabernet Sauvignon. Wafting from the glass with aromas of cherries, raspberries, loamy soil and rose petals, it's medium to full-bodied, lively and seamless, with refined, powdery tannins and a long, penetrating finish. This is well worth seeking out".
    -William Kelley, Wine Advocate

Rich, dark red in colour.  Intense aromas of forest & bramble fruits - ripe loganberry, blackberry and wild strawberry.  The palate is brimming with sweet fruits, balanced by vanilla oak, savoury leather & tobacco, mocha with fresh herbs in the finish.  Full bodied and voluptuous, mouth coating with deliciously silky, elegant tannins.  Harmony in a bottle.

    • Blend of 80 % Cabernet Sauvignon – 20 % Merlot
    • Aged 12 months in oak barrels
    • Wine Advocate |  92Pts
    • James Suckling | 92Pts
    • Jancis Robinson | MW 17.5

    Château Moulin Riche, 2019

A muscular Saint-Julien with a ton of character

"Sweet tobacco and dark berries with currant and violet undertones. Full body, layers of tannins and a solid center-palate, showing an interplay of fruit and tannins. This needs time to soften. One of the best I have had from here."
    -James Suckling

"It's not easy to find a great St Julien that you can drink young, but this is really one to note. It has the structure and fruit quality to age for 10 or 15 years from now, but the juicy raspberry and blackberry fruits are welcoming already, and the tannins have been well worked to be pliable and smooth. Good quality, from the Léoville Poyferré team"
    -Jane Anson

    • Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon: 48%, Merlot: 29%, Petit Verdot: 23%
    • James Suckling | 94 Pts
    • Jane Anson | 92 Pts

    Château Grand Corbin-Despagne, 2020

Opulent and complex Saint Emilion Grand Cru

The 2018 Grand Corbin-Despagne is deep garnet-purple colored and features baked black cherries, mulberries and plum preserves with touches of rose hips, Marmite toast and fallen leaves. Full-bodied, rich and decadent in the mouth, the voluptuous fruit is well framed by firm, rounded tannins and great freshness, finishing long.

    • Robert Parker 95 points.
    • Merlot (75%) and Cabernet Franc (24%) Cabernet Sauvignon(1%)

    Château Franc le Maine 2016

    Opulent Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is expressive with layers of ripe red and black fruits such as blackberries, cherries, and plums combined with undertones of leather and tobacco. There is a subtle oak influence from the aging process. Rich and full-bodied on the palate with silky tannins. The wine is well-balanced with fresh acidity, which brightens the dark fruit flavours.

    • 18 months in French oak
    • Blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon
