Entirely designed and manufactured in France, the bilame corkscrew has been patented since 1949 by Sanbri®, owner of the registered trademark L’Atelier du Vin®. Once discreetly favored by café waiters of the past, the bilame was used to uncork and reseal bottles without piercing the cork - allowing a small amount of wine to be discreetly drawn from each bottle.

With its raw zamac finish and hand-stitched leather sheath crafted in Italy, the Bilame Craft pays tribute to the strength of materials and a passion for authentic oenological tools.

How to use the “Bilame”, twin blade corkscrew ?

• Insert the long blade between the neck and the cork, and the short blade on the other side.
• Move the handle back and forth to push the two blades all the way down.
• Unscrew while pulling the handle upwards to extract the cork by gradually turning, without forcing.
