    STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Grown at breathtaking elevations between 1,700 and 2,300 metres above sea level, these Torrontés vines thrive in the extreme conditions of the Calchaquí Valley. The region’s intense high altitude and massive temperature swings - often shifting by as much as 25°C from day to night - create a wonderfully long growing season that locks in the grape's bright, natural acidity. Situated in a dry climate that sees barely 120 millimetres of rain a year, the vineyard's sandy, gravel-layered soils provide excellent drainage. To perfectly capture this rugged terroir, the estate farms the entire vineyard using strict biodynamic principles.

To ensure absolute quality, the grapes underwent a rigorous double sorting process, first in the vineyard and again upon arriving at the winery. The winemaking team then guided the fruit through a slow, cool fermentation, a deliberate choice to beautifully preserve the wine's bright, natural fruit characteristics. After resting in stainless steel tanks for three months to maintain its crisp freshness, the wine was bottled in June and allowed to mellow for an additional two months in the cellar before finally being released.
