Named after Olivetta, the unique natural spring that provides vital refreshment within Vesuvio National Park, this Lacrimabianco is itself a liquid source of renewal. It’s a silky, medium-bodied blend of the indigenous Catalanesca and Caprettone grapes. The complex nose offers an abundance of apple, pear, and bright citrus, woven with aromatic layers of white melon, sage, and marjoram, underscored by earthy hints of humus and white flowers. Perfectly balanced, the palate is crisp and intensely salty.
Cantine Olivella is a family winery named after the spring known as "dell'Olivella", at the foot of Monte Somma, in the heart of the Vesuvius National Park , where in 1974 remains of a Roman’s amphorae was found, evidence that the area was already known for its wines during the Roman empire. Today the winery cultivates about 10 hectares of organically grown vineyards located on the Vesuvius lava producing outstanding volcanic wines made with native grapes.
