This wine has a vibrant and aromatic bouquet, offering intense aromas of tropical fruits such as passion fruit and pineapple . There are also citrus fruits with hints of fresh-cut grass, green herbs, and a touch of minerality. On the palate, there is a crisp refreshing acidity with a clean lingering finish.

Established in 1985 by David Hohnen when Marlborough was at this stage unknown as a wine producing area. From the very first vintage the wines of this estate were an instant success winning numerous awards. Arguably this winery has almost singlehandedly defined what an archetypal Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc should taste like.
