Well made sparkling rosé from Tasmania

Honeysuckle and citrus aromas with strawberry tones from the Pinot Noir. Delicate fruit and a creamy mouthfeel. A lingering finish of citrus and nougat.

"Very greyish pale salmon pink. Light rose petals on the nose. Pretty aggressive froth! Then a little sweetness on palate entry and quite a lot of acid on the palate but it's well made, even if it tastes pretty youthful. A brisk aperitif?"

STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Tasmania is the home of Australia’s sparkling wines. The cool climate is reminiscent of Champagne. They call their production method Méthode Tasmanoise! The brand is an homage to Dutch explorer Abel Janszoon Tasman, the first European to sight the island of Tasmania in 1642.
