The Latour family has been established on the Route Nationale in Meursault for many generations. In 1958 the Latour family merged with the estate of the Giraud family to form the current configuration.
Since the 1990's, with the arrival of the articulate and perfectionist winemaker, Jean-Pierre Latour, the estate has undergone what the Review des Vins de France has called a true cultural revolution. In a major commitment to improving quality, the estate adopted organic agricultural practices and reduced yields to 25-35 hectoliters per hectare. Jean-Pierre's whites are classic Burgundies intense and concentrated, stylish and powerful, layered and balanced. They combine lemon, pear, quince and citrus fruits and hints of spice, smoke and toast with the characteristic mineral qualities of the soil. At the same time, they are lean and dry, focused and true to their appellation and vineyard site. He is now regarded as one of the top echelon of producers of white Burgundy.

On a nice sunny day like today I sat outside with my dog and a very cold glass of 3 Wooly Sheep the wine was delicious.
I buy this very drinkable wine every time I see it on sale, it is a favourite in my house and is well worth a try. Do buy two bottles.
Lovely light fruity wine - nice to chill for the summer. But delicious not chilled also
Have ordered this wine a few times now very drinkable, every one in my house likes it. But for different reasons not one of us can agree why but we all like it.
This is a really nice Salice Salentino, its spicy and deep with plenty of fruit and mouth feel
