VALVIRGINIO CHIANTI, 2021

"A quite modern style of Chianti – and all the better for that!

Just arrived here in recent weeks, it is a blend of five grape varieties, and was vinified in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, staying there for six months before bottling. Intense ruby red colour and dominant aromas of blackberry and raspberry on the nose.

The generous palate displays soft summer fruit notes, supple tannins, and a pleasant length.
