    This wine opens with bright aromas of lemon peel and crushed chalk, accompanied by a distinctive gunpowder freshness that adds intrigue. Subtle minty and herbal nuances enhance its aromatic complexity. On the palate, vibrant fruit flavours of pear, apple, and lemon peel take center stage, all underpinned by a lively sense of vivacity. The acidity is superb, providing excellent structure and potential for further development.

    Originating from the Vergisson terroir, this Pouilly-Fuissé wine presents delicate scents of white-fleshed fruits harmoniously complemented by the subtle fragrance of white flowers. It stands out with its opulence and smoothness on the palate, revealing a creamy, brioche-like character. This is a refreshing, well-rounded, and velvety white wine that invites indulgence.

    Food Pairing: It pairs well with seafood, white meat like veal or poultry, and for sure goat cheese. Its rich aromatic notes pair well with spicy and exotic foods and the acidity will also support sushi and sashimi.

    Deep crimson red, offering intense hints of cedar and nutmeg, chocolate, coffee and fruit liqueur. The palate is full, strong and fills the mouth. Ripe fruits with strong, velvety tannins. Long lasting and persistent finish.

    Château Coufran 2016 is a remarkably bold wine, offering both roundness and silkiness on the palate. Its finish is exceptionally long, leaving a lasting aromatic impression. The estate’s mature Merlot vines contribute to the wine’s appealing aromatic richness and excellent aging potential.
