Fresh, Mineral & Slightly Effervescent Txakoli 

With contribution of citrus, fresh apple and pear. The gray slate terrain gives it mineral notes. On the palate it is fresh and fruity, with characteristic acidity and slight carbonic A great alternative to Vinho Verde.

Food Pairing: Perfect accompanyment to fish, grilled fish, raw seafood, such as ceviches, oysters or sushi. Also delicious as an aperitif.

STORY BEHIND THE WINE

The Txueka- Etxaniz family were instrumental in establishing Getariako Txakolina as a recognised appellation in 1989 and continue to be committed to conserving the Hondarrabi grape variety. The vineyards are located in Getaria , on a stunning hillside dropping down to the sea . The cool breezes of the Atlantic help the grapes retain a fresh and lively acidity which is typical of Txakoli wines.
