A Riesling with purity that displays intense stone fruit aromas of apricots and citrus fruit. It combines supple abundance in its texture with racy vibrancy and flinty minerality. In the long finish, notes of floral herbs, like chamomile emerge. Crystal-clear full fruit with ripe acidity and an elegant, dry finish.

Food Pairing: A wine that blends well with freshwater and marine fish, either grilled or steamed with herbs. The verve of the wine also goes well with light meats, poultry and vegetable dishes prepared with ginger and lemongrass. Try it as an aperitif too.
STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
The Türk winery is located west of Vienna in the idyllic wine village of Stratzing in Kremstal. The roots of the renowned family business go back to the beginning of the 18th century. They own 17ha of quality vineyards, several of which are erste lage or premier cru with about 75% planted with Grüner Veltliner.
Winemaker Franz Türk’s philosophy is to draw on centuries of accumulated family knowledge but also to try something new. His focus is on producing wines with character and finesse, that reflect their terroir, built for the long term, not a sprint or to have flashy fruitiness in youth.
