STORY BEHIND THE LABEL

A magnificent Provençal property, dating from 1489, Château d'Estoublon is surrounded by beautiful vineyards but also by lavender fields and olive groves, from which they make some of the world's best oils. One of the new owners is Jean-Guillaume Prats, former President/CEO of Lafte-Rothschild and Cos d’Estournel. He brought in Victor Joyeaux as winemaker. A native of Montpellier, Victor travelled the world, working in South Africa, New Zealand, Argentina and California, including eight years as the winemaker at the legendary Cloudy Bay.
