"In the glass, the 2022 Lytton Springs shows rich, firm tannins and a savoury, salty edge. Flavours of dark cherries, pluots, and ripe brambly berries unfold alongside herbaceous aromas of fennel and a touch of dried citrus peel. Aged in 15% new American oak, the wine has a really nice balance, with acidity supporting its generous fruit and mouthfeel. "

Ridge Vineyards, established in 1962 in California's Santa Cruz Mountains, is renowned for its single-vineyard wines. Emphasizing sustainable, organic farming and minimal intervention, Ridge produces expressive Zinfandels and Bordeaux-style blends. The winery gained international acclaim when its 1971 Monte Bello placed fifth at the 1976 Judgment of Paris, showcasing California's winemaking excellence.
