STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
Thanks to producers like Denny Bini, Lambrusco is enjoying a renaissance of late. The spiritual home of this family of grapes is North-East Italy’s Emilia-Romagna. The quality and range of styles now being produced here has opened up another frontier for those of us who like fruity and crowd-pleasing wines. In style and execution, this Ponente 270 sits at the crossroads between Champagne and deep-fruited Rosé. Nicely structured, enticing and made for sharing.
