    STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Crafted by the same expert team and under the same rigorous standards as theGrand Vin, Pavillon de Léoville Poyferré is a true reflection of the Cuvelier family’s century-long commitment to excellence. While it is primarily sourced from the estate's younger vines, it stays faithful to the property's winemaking philosophy, utilising a classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon,Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. To maintain a vibrant, fruit-forward profile, the wine is matured in seasoned oak, resulting in a Saint-Julien that balances the power of the terroir with a supple, approachable charm. This is a wine of remarkable finesse, offering the structure of a Second Growth with an elegance that is ready to be enjoyed even in its youth.
