The innovative and well regarded Portuguese winemaker Luis Pato is credited with almost single-handedly putting the Bairrada region on the wine map. While his portfolio has a broad range of still and sparkling wines, it is the quality of his reds that has garnered the most attention and respect. One of these is this single vineyard Vinha Pan Tinto. Pato has been a champion of the Baga grape, from which Vinha Pan is produced, for many years and is considered as one of its leading manipulators.
