Bordeaux

We’re especially proud of our Bordeaux range - it’s at the heart of what we do. TP, the founding spirit behind our organisation, was passionate about Bordeaux and even wrote a book dedicated to its wines. (The Irish Wines of Bordeaux, Vine Press, 1990), which captures his lifelong love for these wines.

Our collection includes some of the region’s most renowned names. We’re honoured to work with the Cuvellier family, owners of Château Léoville Poyferré – one of the famous “Super Seconds” of the 1855 classification in Saint-Julien  - as well as Château Moulin Riche and Château le Crock in Saint-Estèphe.

We also have close ties with two respected Bordeaux négociants. Thanks to them, we can offer an exciting selection of Petits Châteaux and gain access to exceptional Right Bank estates from Saint-Émilion and Pomerol, where Merlot and Cabernet Franc shine. From the Left Bank’s Médoc, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, we’re able to secure allocations from some of the most sought-after châteaux, particularly for en primeur releases.

Our Haut-Médoc selection is especially strong, with key wines from Pauillac, Saint-Julien, Saint-Estèphe, Margaux, Moulis and Listrac – including favourites like Château Lynch-Bages and Château Léoville Barton.

We’re also proud to have built a Crus Bourgeois collection, celebrating the best of this historic classification. One standout is Château Cambon la Pelouse – a benchmark estate whose 2016 vintage won the coveted Best Cru Bourgeois Trophy at the Crus Bourgeois Cup during Vinexpo Bordeaux, beating a record 166 entries judged by an international panel.
