    Powerful, round, and complex Margaux

On two plots of Günzian gravel in the Margaux appellation, Le Margaux de Malleret is mainly made from Merlot. This elegant yet approachable red offers complexity, roundness, and power. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark cherry, chocolate, and spice unfold on a medium-bodied palate with soft, chalky tannins and a fresh, vibrant finish.
    • Blend of Merlot 65% and Cabernet Sauvignon 35%
    • Aged 12 months in French oak
    • Tim Atkin | 91 Pts
    Cellaring:  Drink now to 2035
Food Pairing:The winepairs exceptionally well with a simple grilled entrecôte with a bordelaise sauce, a roasted rack of lamb seasoned with thyme, a classic beef Wellington, a succulent duck breast served with a blackberry reduction. You might also consider a wild mushroom tart, a slow-braised venison stew.  | 🌡️ The wine should be served between 16°C to 18°C
