STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

Richard Kershaw MW established his winery in 2012 with the intention of making site specific, clonal selection wines using noble grape varieties in the cool climate of the Elgin Valley. The hand-picked grapes are allowed to ferment naturally without the addition of any enzymes or yeasts.

OUR IMPRESSION

Aromas of apples, pears and citrus tones with an oaky spice undertone. A balanced, structured palate showing excellent varietal purity. It is a blend of four Dijon clones: CY96, CY95, CY76 and CY548.

11 months in 38% New Oak barrel.

Product Award
