Deep ruby red in colour with cherry notes,. Great complexity and aromatic quality of compote fruit, liquorice stick, and those from aging such as spice and balsamic vinegar aromas. Light vanilla, chocolate are also easily found. Silky and smooth on the palate, with well defined tannins and a long persistent finish.
