The wine shows an abundance of flavour like peach ,white pear, lemon and hints elderflower. Fermentation and ageing in French oak barrels add toasted almonds honey and a hint of vanilla to the nose. Maturation on its lees for 10 months adds texture and complexity which combined with a fresh acidity delivers an elegant finish.

Groot Constantia is testimony of Simon van der Stel ’s love for wine who established South Africa’s first wine farm in 1685.
