STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

While you may not have heard much about it, take it from us that Moldovan wine is a star on the rise. 2020 was a breakout year for the country with a number of its wineries performing well in the Decanter World Wine Awards. Gitana is regarded as one of its top producers, with a wide range of grapes in its portfolio. They have made a name for themselves with their take on both international and indigenous grapes. Merlot was one of the first planted and its price to quality ratio marks them as standout producer in the region.
