Perfect Summer Rosé Wine

Easy drinking, delicate rose, fresh, fruity nose of strawberries and a hint of red currant. A great combination of Pinot Noir, Merlot and Saint-Laurent. Nice and dry on the palate, yet  juicy with lots of red fruit and a playful finish. Summer in a glass!

Food Pairing: Thyme-roasted chicken, gouda cheese, salmon, and salads. 

BEHIND THE WINE: 

The history of the company Oekonomierat Joh. Geil I. Erben begins in 1871 .The vineyards are located in the villages of Bechtheim and Hessbach located within the region of Rheinhessen . Today the winery remains in the Geil family and is managed by Johannes Geil-Bierschenk. In 2013 he was awarded the title of “Best Dry Riesling Producer” for the region. Like his great ancestors, he relies on the latest technology combined with sensitivity and patience as the basis for producing the best quality wines.
